How we choose
All our scores come from formulas applied equally to every product. Here they are, in full. If a score doesn't add up for you, you can recalculate it yourself.
Seat range, lumbar, sizes, warranty. No inflated stars, no fabricated reviews.

With your measurements, the ranking stops being generic: it's your fit %, product by product.

What data we use
Only manufacturer-published specifications: seat height range, lumbar support type, armrests, maximum weight, EN 1335 certification, warranty, hand sizes, vertical angle, connectivity. We don't use store ratings or reviews we can't verify. When a spec isn't available we show “—”, we never make it up.
The formulas (0-10, over the catalog range)
Chairs
- Adjustability: adjustable depth (2 pts) + lumbar (fixed 0.5 · adjustable 2 · active 3) + armrests (2D 1.5 · 3D 2 · 4D 2.5 · 5D 3) + width of the seat range (up to 2).
- Lumbar support: fixed 3 · adjustable 7 · active 10.
- Sturdiness: maximum weight normalized across the catalog (70 %) + EN 1335 certification (30 %).
- Warranty and certification: warranty years out of 12 (80 %) + EN 1335 (20 %).
- Value for money: average of the above divided by price, normalized across the catalog.
Mice and keyboards
- Wrist neutrality: vertical ≥60° 10 · vertical 57° 9 · full split 10 · split 8.5 · curved 8 · wave 7 · trackball 7 · classic ergonomic 5.5.
- Versatility: wireless (4) + left-handed friendly (3) + number of sizes covered (1 per size).
- Size coverage: 1 size 3 · 2 sizes 6 · 3 sizes 10.
- Value for money: same as for chairs.
Scores are recalculated with every catalog update (if a better product comes in, the relative scores of the others can drop). They are a calculated editorial rating, not a manufacturer figure.
Your fit %
It's our star metric and it's personal: it crosses your measurements (height → popliteal height ≈ 25 %, weight, hours per day, hand size, dominant hand) with each product's specs. It's calculated in your browser and your measurements never leave your device.
