Why this site exists

Because buying a work chair in Spain is an act of faith: rankings that score models in the abstract, indistinguishable five-star reviews and no answer to the only question that matters — whether that product fits your body. We start from your measurements and from the specs the manufacturer publishes.

Who writes this

Ergonomi&Co is written and maintained by Dámaso Garbayo Pérez de Vargas, from Madrid. I am not a doctor or a physiotherapist: I built this comparator and its tools to answer the question rankings do not, which product fits your body. My job is to gather the specs manufacturers publish, run them through a public formula and tell you the result without sponsored reviews.

How we work

• Manufacturer specs only. Seat range, lumbar, maximum weight, sizes, warranty and certification. If a figure isn't published, we show “—”: we never make it up.
• Published method. The exact formulas behind every score are in how we choose, and they are applied in the same way to every product, whether or not it has an affiliate program.
• No fabricated reviews. We don't publish ratings we can't verify, nor made-up testimonials.
• Verification in progress. The catalog specs come from public listings and are being cross-checked with each manufacturer; we state this on every product page.

How we're funded

Through affiliate commissions: if you buy through our links, the store pays us a percentage at no additional cost to you. That commission does not change the order of the results or the scores — the formula is public and includes no commercial variable. Affiliate disclosure.
