02Dropping the number pad
Without a number pad the mouse comes closer to the centre of your body and the right shoulder rotates less. If you enter data daily, a separate pad solves both.
03Tenting and negative tilt
Raising the inner edge turns the palms slightly towards each other and reduces forearm rotation. Negative tilt, with the keyboard sloping away from you, lowers wrist extension.
04Mechanism and noise
Scissor keys are the quietest. Among mechanical switches, soft linears tire the fingers less and light tactiles signal the actuation point without forcing you to bottom out.

Does the keyboard matter more than the mouse?
If you type for many hours, yes: the keyboard determines your shoulder and wrist posture most of the time. Ideally you fix both, starting with whichever you use most.
