Your popliteal height is around 25% of your total height and has to fall inside the range the manufacturer states. At 1.75 m that is about 44 cm: a chair with a 45 to 55 cm range is already too high for you, and no other spec fixes that.
02Lumbar support: fixed, adjustable or active
A fixed lumbar rarely lands where your curve wants it. Adjustable lets you set it at your height and forget it; active or self-adjusting follows you as you move and suits you better if you shift position a lot.
03Seat depth and armrests
Two or three fingers should fit between the edge of the seat and the back of your knee. And the armrests must drop far enough to leave your elbows at 90° over the desk: if they don't, the weight of your forearm lands on your trapezius.
04Maximum load and warranty
The load is a test limit, not a recommendation: leave 20% of margin. The warranty is the best clue to real durability, because it is what the manufacturer is willing to pay if it fails.

How often should you stand up?
The usual recommendation is to change posture every 30 minutes and stand up every 50-60. No chair, however good, replaces movement.
Adjustable lumbar or active lumbar?
Adjustable lets you set the support at the height of your curve and forget about it. Active (self-adapting) follows your movements, useful if you shift posture a lot. Both are clearly better than a fixed lumbar over long days.
How much should I spend for 8 hours a day?
The real jump in features is in the mid range. Below it you can find adjustable lumbar supports, but rarely with adjustable depth and long warranties.
